The remains of ancient archaeology such as a Neolithic long barrow near Broughton, Hampshire, as well as remains of Iron Age forts such as Pilsdon Pen in Dorset and medieval villages such as Old Sulby in Northamptonshire. Throughout most of my life I’ve referenced other people. I’ve always learned my craft by reading other travel writers carefully, but with this thing, I know what I need to do and I’m just getting on with it.
