Funnily enough, Bowser's goal in that game was to marry Peach as well, even though he's had a crush on her since Paper Mario. Brawl, in the Subspace Emissary, Bowser uses this car twice. The first time it is used, Bowser uses it to escape from Mario, Pit, Yoshi, Link, and Kirby while taking the princess ( Peach or Zelda). It is later used to escape from Falco, Diddy Kong, and Fox. After that, it is not seen again. For Nintendo 3DS / Wii U Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island introduced Kamek, the Magikoopa who raised Bowser from infancy and who has been seen interacting with him the most throughout the series. As seen in subsequent Yoshi series games and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Kamek takes great care of Baby Bowser and worries for his safety, with his devout loyalty continuing into Bowser's adulthood where he is often seen as Bowser's right-hand. Kamek's Psychopath line in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars even implies that he considers Bowser to be like a son to him, as despite his brain-washing by the enemies, he thinks, "That's... my child?" when faced with Bowser in battle. The only time a rift has been shown between the two is in Mario Party Advance; after winning a minigame Kamek explains that he took leave of Koopa Troop when Bowser disappointed him by taking the title of "Game Master", rather than earning it, although the ending states that the two reconciled. Aside from that incident, the two get along well, and Bowser seems to show much more respect to his elderly guardian than to any other of his subordinates.Opening • A Plea From the Stars • Storming Koopa Bros. Both also want the approval of someone else; Peach in Bowser's case, and Cranky Kong in DK's case. While Bowser insists on Peach loving him despite his multiple atrocities which leads to her rejecting him, Donkey Kong recognizes and eventually overcomes his flaws, which wins his father's approval. Additionally, Bowser's conflict with Mario is violently antagonistic, whereas DK's conflict with Mario is more akin to that of friendly teasing.

In DK: Jungle Climber, an airship appears as the King Kruiser IV. It resembles a crocodile, and is heavily armed. In the latter stages of the game, the Kongs chase the King Kruiser IV to High-High Island. However, they miss the ship as it passes over the top of the island. In the level Space A Go-Go, Donkey Kong travels out of Planet Plantaen, chasing down the King Kruiser IV. Donkey Kong enters it through a small opening guarded by Kritters. The interior appears similar to the factory-themed levels found in the game.
