About this deal

Pasta is a fun medium to work with- and kids just love to create with it. And all the different pasta shapes can create an amazing dinosaur skeleton!

All you need is cardboard, tissue paper, and glue- and your child can make a fun dinosaur shape to play with! I love using sausages in pasta because they're so tasty, and they also make a dish a lot cheaper than if you're buying mince. Most of this is basic ingredients you'll have in your cupboards, and all-in-all it's a pretty cheap meal. Set out some shallow trays of tempera paint and allow your child to walk their dinosaurs through the paint and then stomp them all over their paper. I've flavoured this with rosemary, oregano and basil, so it's a really simple but flavoursome dish. Every child loves dinosaurs and now, with these Dinosaur Pasta Shapes, you can serve them up to your budding palaeontologists at teatime! Fabulous for birthday teas, Friday night sleepovers or just because… dish up a T-Rex-themed treat with your favourite pasta sauce and you’re not just making supper, you’re creating special memories. Based in Treviso, Italy, this famous family company was founded in 1993 by three brothers. They wanted to develop the skills they’d inherited from three generations of pasta makers before them, but to create a range of traditional, bespoke and novelty pasta shapes. Always made from the finest durum wheat pasta, coloured and flavoured with the finest natural ingredients, Dalla Costa pasta shapes are pressed through cast bronze moulds to produce sharply defined shapes with a surface texture that holds onto Italian pasta sauces with ease.

Let the painted pasta dry. We left ours on a plate for a few days. As it dries, the pasta soaks up the paint and becomes wonderfully vibrant. Kids are more likely to explore new vegetables when served in a fun way. This Dinosaur pasta salad is a great way to introduce a new flavor while serving a few favorites. Leave raw or steam depending on your children's preferences. I found serving the pasta WARM is much better received. Summer Camp Activities: Week 1 After you've nibbled your dinosaur noodles, you’ve got to try a few Dinosaur Themed Food Ideas from this list by Jordan’s Easy Entertaining! Did you know you can make your own dinosaur eggs? This is a fun, stem activity to do with your toy dinosaurs. If you're after a cheap and easy meal idea, then this is definitely the recipe for you - my gluten free sausage pasta. We absolutely love this simple dinosaur skeleton craft! It is made with only three materials: cardboard, dried pasta shells and sand, all of which are secured together with some white glue. Many vegetarian meat substitutes would work wonderfully here as well, or omit altogether if your family won't miss it. Enjoy Your Dinosaur Pasta And the craziest thing is that I still make this regularly for dinner, albeit with a few additions and tweaks since the original recipe.
