About this deal

We liked the fact that the charging case has three indicator lights on the front to show you how many charges you have left. This is quite a useful feature, making it that much easier to avoid an accidental and disastrous low-battery situation. Price You can expect to have basic controls like answering calls, skipping and pausing music, but sadly no volume controls. You have to use your phone to change that. The audio quality is pretty good, considering the price range. They are slightly bassy, but not as strong as best bass earbuds. The low end has a good punch, but it isn’t very fast or detailed. The latter is showing mostly in progressive music or metal, but it works just fine with EDM and other popular genres. The Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo look like reference design true-wireless earbuds. The pebble-shaped charge case has a shiny, cheap plastic finish. Aside from the rubber port covering its micro-USB charge port, it’s about as unassuming as you’ll find. The earbuds are equipped with long battery life. Soundcore by Anker Life A1 earbuds can operate for 9 hours on a single charge. Flashing LEDs let you see how much of the battery life is still in the buds. A white light indicates a high battery, red light indicates a low battery. Sadly this is the only information you get, besides the female voice, telling you the battery is high or low every time you put them out of the case. You also can’t see the battery percentage anywhere on your phone. While we had no issues with connection or pairing the earbuds to a device during our testing, some users have experienced connection issues. This often seemed to boil down to the type of device paired or software issues. Golden sound via 10.6mm coaxial dual driver technology (ACAA 2.0) and personalized active noise cancelling (HearID ANC) Overall, we felt it was easy to use them, pair them, put them in, and wear them, with overall comfort being one of the sets' strong suits! When talking about battery life/playtime, average playtime of up to 8 – 9 hours on a single charge. Total playtime with charging case lasts up to almost 35 hours, that great for a long flight. It’s also come with the feature of fast charging: 10 minutes of charging gets additional 1.5 hours of playtime. How The Life A1’s Call Quality? We also wouldn’t advise using them during extremely vigorous exercise or swimming, either. Depending on how well they fit you, they may or may not fall out. So, play it by ear and see how comfortable you feel wearing them during these activities before you lose one. As is the norm for economical headsets, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo only supports AAC and SBC. Android users looking for reliable, high-quality Bluetooth codecs should turn their ears toward the company’s more premium Liberty Air 2 Pro model. You’re unlikely to notice any difference in codec quality when out and about in a noisy environment, but if you crank the volume up, you may run into some compression artifacts that can make your music sound bad. How do you pair the Soundcore Liberty Neo? Being a bit older of a device, there are already cheaper options available that perform better in most, if not, some areas in comparison to the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo.

Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo review - SoundGuys

However, the audio completely cuts after the second wall. But at that point, you are probably on the other side of the house, so the connection stability is on par with the competition. The lid of the case doesn’t open all the way up and could be the first thing to break if you use too much force. Can You Connect to 2 Devices at the Same Time (Multipoint)? Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo can please a wide range of users. They are not groundbreaking in terms of the sound quality, but for the casual non-audiophile listeners, they should be more than enough. Why Buy Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo? Now, the Liberty Neo does have a decent mid-bass slam, which gives a steady thump in especially more modern music genres such as dance, pop, and hip-hop. Yet, it doesn't go as deep as on the other Soundcore models. It can rumble at times, but it doesn't reach the darkest tones, the deepest depths.Cable failure. Try different charging cable, find one you know works good (charges properly something else). Leave it in for many hours.

Soundcore What to do if the earbuds don’t charge or turn on? - Soundcore

I’m extremely meticulous when it comes to the headphones’ sound quality. And I’m not disappointed in terms of the sound quality. The Anker Life A1 is the best-sounding economical earbuds. It provides three custom sound modes. The sound instruments are crisp. The soundstage is moderate and does not give a clear sense of the distance between each instrument. The vocals are clear and not muffled, if you like listening to acoustic music you should choose Signature Sound mode. I feel that it give mood music is comfortable. The Bass is fantastic when you choose Bass Booster sound mode, with the sound of a heavy drum and not too much. Each earbud has a small LED light that flashes in red or white color. It usually blinks white when pairing and when they’re on standby mode. When you’re using them, the blinking stops. Based on this small sample of the market, we’re pretty confident in saying that some of these popular earbuds are somewhat possible to repair, but only if you’ve got the patience to work in very tight spaces, and potentially some soldering skills—which is better than we expected after our first couple AirPods teardowns. Buds themselves can hold up to 3.5 hours of battery life, with the charging case adding an extra 19 hours (24 in total). In our test, we got around 5 hours out of them. This is a better battery life than expected but still somewhat average compared to the competition. Thankfully the case isn’t too big: you can easily take it with you. Also with a similar look to the Apple Airpods, the FASSME Wireless Headphones feature smart touch, so you can easily answer or hang up calls and pause your music. They're water-resistant to protect against sweat and rain — and the portable charging box has a battery life of up to 30 hours.
