About this deal

When dog skeleton has an accident resulting in him breaking to pieces, big skeleton and little skeleton put him back together after many attempts.

The site was created a few years back with the aim of becoming a high quality sparklebox alternative - helping teachers and parents to create exciting and inspiring learning environments for young children. It is a particularly dark, dark night tonight, and Big and Little keep bumping into each other, making them fall to pieces, and there is only one thing to do: send in Dr.Janet and Alan Ahlberg introduce the characters in a lovely way, using repetition and starting off with the local environment of the skeletons and then eventually introducing the skeletons themselves. This is how Funnybones starts, and is probably one of the most recognisable beginnings to any story.

Big: The larger skeleton brother (who wore a mini red bowler hat in the TV series and who wore various hats in the storybooks and in his wishful ideas). Rood End Primary enters its two best teams, but there are a few others who want to make their mark too. They have a good game in the park, and play on the swings, but as the dog skeleton is chasing a stick, he bumps into a tree and falls apart. It was actually really surprising how much all of it came flooding back once I started reading the first page. This book is pretty near perfect, both for children just starting to learn to read, and older ones too.

Packed with bright illustrations and easy to read text, this brilliant Bone Rattling Collection has delighted children for generations. Allan Ahlberg has published over 100 children's books and with his late wife Janet, created many award-winning children's picture books, including Peepo! Burglar Bill; Cops and Robbers; Each Peach Pear Plum; The One and Only Two Heads; Son of a Gun; The Little Worm Book; Two Wheels Two Heads; The Baby's Catalogue; A Pair of Sinners; Happy Families; Peepo! The children really enjoyed the story and where able to notice the repetitive language being used in the story.

Through ourTime to Read programme, we give every Reception pupil in England their own book to treasure and share at home. Big skeleton and little skeleton enjoy a push on the swings and they throw a stick for dog skeleton. They had a lot of fun, but one picture shows the three skeletons running away from a skeleton of a crocodile . I personally remember reading along with the teacher, when I was in primary school, due to the repetition used in the book. It’s a perfect book for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and into the earlier years of Key Stage One.But one night - "Yo-ho-ho" - the pirates come and put them out to sea on a tiny raft, launching them on an oceanful of new adventures. A song is also included in the book, and I remember as a child reading the book over and over again and singing along out loud! After Dog wakes up from his favourite dream he chases after other animals that have got the big, juicy bone including Cat. I think that this book could be used to introduce a new sience topic, such as the human body to a young student. Perfect for bedtime, a Bone Rattling Collection contains three of the most-loved Funnybones stories.
