Hi, this tray is great either in a seat or sitting in bed, the small circular hole is too narrow for any of my flasks I have for my coffee and is too deep for using as a pencil/pen holder until I folded up some paper and stuck it into the hole, now it’sa great pencil/pen holder lol. I really like the gap between my lap and the plastic tray ~ cushioned lap trays always make me too hot after a while and this is not the case with this Hobbycraft one.
