Both the magnetic connectors for charging and the small LED indicator light are both set back inside of the surface and are barely noticeable during day to day use.

It has a larger charging case than the X3 and certainly bigger earpieces, which feel fat and filling even without the sport wings that come delivered with it. The bud-style earbuds sit comfortably in the ears – we did not have to switch out the default ear tip size.Whenever I speak to people on the phone, they let me know how great the sound quality is, especially how clear my voice is whenever I'm using these (even if my phone is on the table in the other room, whilst I'm cooking). Update June 22: The more I compare the Edifier X3 with other wireless earphones, the more the bass section stands out.

Whichever genre you're listening, there's an enjoyable bass amount - including sub-bass depths when asked for. noise-cancellation technology that reduces environmental noise, effectively providing high-quality passive noise isolation for an immersive user experience. As I mentioned during the intro, the biggest impression the Edifier X3 Earbuds made on me during the review was there fit and clever ergonomic design. We deliver outstanding sound experience through a wide range of sound systems for personal entertainment and professional excellence. This section is partly taken from the original Edifier X3 review , with some new insights after testing 100+ more wireless earbuds. There is some delay in the sound when you're playing games, as is the case with almost all wireless earphones. Each bud has an IP55 waterproof rating which means they are ok for use in the rain but shouldn’t be submerged in water. I can throw these in a bag and pop them in on the bus linking to my watch when I'm out working and have my work phone on me. The fit seems secure in my ears (and a different set of gromits are also provided), and the noise cancelling seems effective.

Although I had used them occasionally before lockdown, they came into their own during and after it. The custom-fitting design and placement of the earphones ensure an optimal audio output for each individual user. The X3 earbuds can last up to 6 hours on a single charge, which is rather amazing for a set of earbuds with such a small size. The bass on the Edifier X3 gives a nice thump that can pulsate in your ears and delivers enough power to pump up the music. Both earbuds aren't afraid to dip into the highs and can sound a little harsh at times, but the T1 Lite controls the upper-mids better, which cause the peaks on the Edifier. That's a great score in the ultra-budget segment of earbuds, and a very usable score for everyday use. If older recordings have white noise underneath them, the M13 reduces it better than the Edifier, and the Mpow bass is more engaging with tighter thumps and fuller mid-bass slams.
