In the last book the truth about the brothers parents came out... Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw were the parents of Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf. Or at least that is what everyone thought until the truth came out...and EVERYONE learned that their real parents were Leafpool (Squirrelflight's sister) and Crowfeather. The bad part to that parentage is that Leafpool was from Thunderclan and Crowfeather was Windclan, that is a against the warrior code for cat clans to have mates in other clans. They broke rules to be together and what is even worse is that Leafpool was a medicine cat and they aren't allowed to have mates and or kits. So it was a scandal in the clans, and they lied about it. Lionblaze and Jayfeather are half clan cats and now everyone knows, and there is nothing they can do about it. Anger over this affair/scandal runs deep in some cats hearts. Revenge is taken and from this book lays a path of destruction to the next in the series, Fading Echoes. Enjoyment - 4/5 - I was maybe expecting a tad bit more considering the things we've seen in other Warriors books (it's hard to compare though as they're all so good), but it was certainly a very enjoyable read nevertheless!The fourth series was released in 2009-2012. This series is continued to the third series, Power of Three, and has six sections, which are The Fourth Apprentice, Fading Echoes, Night Whispers, Sign of the moon, The forgotten warrior, The last hope. Our youngest is almost with this series, so we will have to move onto some of the special series books, since only one book in the Dawn of the Clans series has been published so far. Honestly, what's not to like? Also, Half Moon and Jayfeather 😭 I'm not normally one to feel so strongly about canon ships (so many of them are so bland and out of nowhere) but this one made me into a supporter like, instantly. They were just so cute together 😭 Knowing that Jayfeather could have finally had the life he always wanted, unhindered by his blindness, able to take a mate who so obviously loves him and have kits, but destiny has other plans... It hurts :( That scene at the end has my heart, omg. I like to think that, many seasons in the future, once all this is resolved, they get to be with each other in StarClan/The Tribe of Endless Hunting <3 (since it's basically canon that those are the same thing, just in different places).Lionblaze and Jayfeather discover that Hollyleaf is still alive. Jayfeather and Dovewing go to the Tribe of Rushing Water, where Jayfeather has time-travel experiences as Jay's Wing, and makes the decision for the Ancients to leave the lake.
