Description

Acqua di Gio Profumo gives its wearer a certain elegance and self-confidence. An Acquat with woody spicy notes. Both of these colognes are very versatile spring and summer wears. That can be worn by men of all ages. Can be worn casually, lightly to the office, out on a date, etc. Since they do overlap so much, it would be easy to call this category a draw. Overall it’s a classic men’s fragrance but very well done in terms of the combination of essential oils and aroma chemicals. You don’t need both of these (though, I might personally), really, as there is overlap between them.

One of the first flankers of original Acqua di Gio and also one of the most successful ones was Acqua Di Gio Profumo – released in 2015, created by the same master perfumer who made original Acqua Di Gio, but also the king of fresh fragrances – Alberto Morillas. For me, its type is similar to L'homme: masculine, fresh, elegant and spicy but not exaggerated. The durability and Sillage are however better than with YSL. No, they're not the same. But similar in style. You can tell I don't mind these fresh scents. :) For me, the fragrance exudes elegance, style, class, and yes so I see it, also some reasonable sexiness. After 4-5 hours pass, people will still be able to smell it on you, and the intensity doesn’t change for those who come near you. Both of these fragrances for having marine/aquatic characteristics perform well and don’t just completely evaporate off of the skin. Though, Profumo is the more intense and long lasting of the line. Just bear in mind that with extra sprays you won’t increase its performance – you will just waste the fragrance. To me, it’s way better than the original Acqua Di Gio. I honestly feel that if Profumo was to come out in 1996, it would have the same success as ADG.

Not only because he is on the best way to become an absolute classic and probably one day legends status will attain. As already mentioned I am quite new in the forum and have tested only a few scents compared to many here so far. I smell good (related to the sense of smell), but I'm not yet that good at filtering out individual components. At least not with all fragrances.I wouldn’t recommend wearing Acqua Di Gio Profumo during winter, because cold temperatures won’t allow it to open properly and therefore it won’t be able to perform as it should.

The performance and Sillage is quite good. In the morning it was applied to the skin all the time (according to the people around me). It was not until the early evening that it decreased significantly and became very close. It’s always best to visit the perfumery itself because you have the advantage of testing the fragrance there and figuring out if is it for you, but considering the latest news on discontinuing this beautiful piece of art, chances are not very good that you will find it in perfumeries.

However, you can’t really overapply Acqua Di Gio Profumo. If you want “more parts of you” to smell as well, then feel free to add a few more sprays on places like your shoulders and chest (on the shirt). Notes include: mandarin, bergamot, lavender, marine notes, rosemary, cypress, lentisk, patchouli, musk
